There are two types of reset – Pairing Reset and Factory Reset.
A Pairing Reset removes the existing pairing from the memory of the barcode reader, making it discoverable to other host devices, but leaves any other configuration settings in place.
To perform a Pairing Reset (most readers):
- Remove the barcode reader from Bluetooth settings of your host device.
- Power on the reader.
- Press and hold the scan button and power button simultaneously until the barcode reader plays 3 tones and shuts down.
